What are the steps I need to take following an accident?
The steps are as follows:

What if I am unable to complete the necessary steps within the stipulated time frame?
If you are unable to follow the steps due to any special circumstances or valid reasons (eg. severe injury), insurers will give your claim special
consideration.
Do note that if an accident happens on Saturday evening, then it must be reported by Monday evening (next working day).
What do I do if the third party refuses to cooperate?
If the other party does not cooperate, note down their vehicle registration number.
Is it compulsory to take and submit digital pictures of my accident?
No, it is not compulsory to take and submit digital pictures, but it is strongly encouraged as it will help your insurer assess and process your claim efficiently.
My car’s been stolen. What do I do?

What is the time frame for reporting an accident?
The General Insurance Association of Singapore states motorists need to make a report to their insurer within 24 hours or on the next working day. Thereafter, motorists would need to have their vehicles inspected at an approved reporting centre.
